thumbnails layout

Hello everyone!

I'd like to center thumbnails both orizontally and vertically on the thumbnails axes. Please see the two images in attachment.
I suppose (according to Firebug) I have to modify css, line 6 with something like this "horiz align=center, vert align=center" or directly in the article

{gallery}images, align=center, vert align=center{/gallery}

Can someone help me?
