WEBP upload fails when using SP Page Builder Editor

Hi,

we are using SP page builder editor. When I enable the EIR plugin (with default settings) and try to upload a large WEBP image, I get a PHP error:

[18-Mar-2024 15:24:23 UTC] PHP Fatal error: gd-webp cannot get webp info in /Users/petervukovic/Repositories/WSG/winescholarguild.com/components/com_sppagebuilder/helpers/image.php on line 124

Here is the PHP file, it's pretty small and seems to use the standard PHP function where the code breaks:

For reference, I have used this image:

The error does not happen when I disable the EIR plugin, only when I enable it.

Also, the plugin works with JPG and PNG files.
