different settings for authentication and registration was created by pauldaytona

There are so much settings that can be done, but would it be possible to use different settings for logon as for registration or backend login?

In Joomla, modules can be used with different settings multiple times, don't know if a plugin could be used this way? Maybe problem is it hooks in the same Joomla part each time?
