Fast and reliable visitorcounter (counter) VCNT for Joomla!
Module: VCNT - Visitorcounter
Function: Fast and simple visitor counter for Joomla! The visitor counter identifies and counts visitors via the IP address. Bots can be detected and excluded over the user agent header.
Note: No personal data is stored.

The version for Joomla! 3 is only for testing purposes. If you find a bug, then please report it in the support forum!
Description
The module is intentionally kept very simple and displays the number of visitors for the following periods: Today - Yesterday - Week - Month - Total. In addition, the number of visitors who are currently online can be displayed.
Meanwhile, the module has been completely redesigned and offers everything that a visitor counter needs. Bots can be excluded with a blacklist, just like any IP addresses. The counter can be displayed in three different views: horizontal, vertical and in the compact view. In addition, a contest game can be called from a certain count status. An option for database cleanup is also available.
Since the version 1.7-2 the visitors can be counted invisible. The module can only be displayed for certain user groups, e.g. only Super Users.
On 27 January 2012 version 2.5-1 for Joomla! 2.5 was released.

Installation
Installation
Install the module int the backend and adjust it in Extensions - Module - VCNT - Visitorcounter .
Update: You can install a newer version directly over the old installation. You will not lose any data.
The "powered by" link can be disabled in the advanced settings. When you disable the link, then please donate for my work so that I can offer my free extension in the future!
Tip: The module checks on each call if the required tables are set in the database. The setting is only needed on the first call. Once the module was called in the frontend, you should disable the option "SQL Check" for performance reasons.
Backend Info
Administrator module: VCNT - Visitorcounter Backend Info
With this module the statistics of the module 'VCNT - Visitor Counter' can be displayed directly in the backend. This module is a helper module and requires the installation of the main module.
The module can be managed in the overview of the administrator modules (Dropdown "Administrator"). The module should be published on the position cpanel.

- Gewinnspiel-Option - Popup Squeeze Box - statt des JS Alarm Popups, wird eine schöne Squeeze Box mit der Möglichkeit einen Link oder eine Grafik darzustellen angezeigt. Es können zusätzlich folgende Optionen vorgenommen werden: Größe der Squeeze Box, Undurchsichtbarkeit des Hintergrundes und Zeitsperre für die Anzeige des Popups. Für das Popup wurde das Plugin Squeeze Them! Dimitris umgeschrieben und eingebaut.

- Gewinnspiel-Option - ab einer eingestellten Besucherzahl kann dem Besucher ein selbstgewählter Gewinncode samt Gewinnspiel E-Mail Adresse angezeigt werden. Zusätzlich kann ein Popup-Hinweis ausgegeben werden, der wahlweise bei jedem Aufruf oder 1 Mal pro Session angezeigt wird. Dieses Feature ähnelt dem Visitorcounter Winner, welches ich damals noch für Joomla 1.0 umgesetzt habe.
